KarssCom realize the objective of interaction between a human and a machine at the user interface is effective operation and control of the machine, and feedback from the machine which aids the operator in making operational decisions. Our engineers work to a structured design procedure when creating user interfaces that contains disciplines such as ergonomics and psychology. Our design goal of human-machine interaction is to produce a user interface which makes it easy, efficient, and enjoyable to operate a machine in the way which produces the desired result. This means that the operator needs to provide minimal input to achieve the desired output, and also that the machine minimizes undesired outputs to the human. We understand the design of a user interface vastly affects the amount of effort the user must expend to provide input for the system and to interpret the output of the system, and how much effort it takes to learn how to do this.

Total System Design From a preliminary system brief KarssCom system design service begins with an initial concept design. This is submitted to the client for discussion to ensure all fundamental operational requirements have been covered; additional requirements can be incorporated at this stage. The design is refined and again submitted to the client for finalization and authorization to proceed into the procurement & production stage. Once the system has been produced, tested and inspected by the client it will be released for deployment. Our aim is to apply our automation expertise to a client’s brief and so deliver a design which will achieve the optimum technical and commercial solution for the requirement.
KarssCom design engineers utilise the industry standard AutoCAD software for their design work. Our CAD department is capable of producing quality drawings of clients designs in a quick and cost effective manner. We believe the drawing package utilised by KarssCom reduces the design time allowing us to offer faster turnaround and reduced cost. Component and system selection provides the structure of our electrical and control design. KarssCom has successfully worked with their clients developing overall system concepts which are the correct solution for final applications. Our aim is to provide true systems integration. By including our clients from a very early stage in the planning and development of each system we ensure that their business and technical needs are understood and implemented throughout the lifecycle of the project. KarssCom ensure their client is totally comfortable with the system provided. Our usual approach is to combine a classroom tutorial along with hands on system training usually based on the particular site location. Our training particulars generally consist of system specification, as fitted drawings, operational manuals, hardware and software overview and a site specific training matrix. The training session is usually conducted by the Project Engineer responsible for the system along with technical support from specialists as and when required.
After the installation and commissioning of a new operating system and / or after system renovation, we continue to help our customers through ongoing maintenance. Our technicians are available on site to work as part of a maintenance team, to keep the operating equipment in top condition. Our engineers are always available to answer questions, make upgrades and technical support long after the initial project is completed.
Disciplined and comprehensive project management is as critical as application expertise, system engineering and product performance. For this reason the complete process of product management including design, procurement, installation and commissioning of the system is controlled by a dedicated team of project engineers responsible to an experienced project manager.
Once successful UAT has been competed the Site Project Manager will pass project management into the careful hands of our Technical Support and Service Team. The client will be introduced to the team who will handle any future requirements. Service agreements are available and can be tailored to suit production schedules to ensure that equipment continues to operate at it's optimum performance.
